Several people have recently asked why I haven’t been updating my blog recently (yes; “several people” do read my blog; thanks, mom!). So, here it goes:
Short story short, I’ve been almost exclusively working on two long term projects and, at this point, I’m not sure if continuous blog updates of and about the folks in these pieces are really the best way to get the images out there. Eventually, after some time and editing (lots and lots of editing), I think I’ll have images AND stories to share, but until then, I think I’ll continue to throw up some feature photographs and inanimate objects (and, if I ever get the time again, some sports…and music…and all those other blog categories I don’t use).
Anyways, not sure if this explanation makes sense to those “several people” as I’m not sure it even makes sense to me. It’s just a thought and a feeling.
At any rate, enjoy a few images from McKee’s Auto Parts in New Marshfield, Ohio. I think I’m going to begin working, “Crushing for Christ” into my vernacular.
